@Technodude010 For the most part…. yes. I remember ID attempting to sue 3DRealms way back when over a easter egg in Duke Nukem 3D involving a dead space marine ( that looked a lot like the one on the cover for both the books, and the game to the Doom series ) and Duke says “Damn, that’s one doomed space marine” when you see it.
The lawsuit failed if I remember correctly.
There is also a Gorden Freeman reference in STALKER BTW

That note might say “the cake is a lie”,but it’s a long note,so it must be recipe.And then after the first paragraph there’s that short sentence,it probably says “the cake is a lie”!

there is an easter in industrial school, if you go into the school you’ll see a few crates at your left. Just go behind them and you’ll see a painted box that looks a little like a TV ( i think) , a brush , and some paint
